The groom is back in town.
Abigail lost her best friend years ago when he ditched her at the altar like a loaf of stale bread. Now he’s back and determined to do whatever he has to—even lie, apparently—to get under her skin. Although he makes her hormones rev to life in a way that no one has since he left, she is equally determined not to fall for his boy-next-door charm.
His bride-to-be is somewhat reluctant.
Braxton Dean was too young and stupid to know better when he walked away. Years of trying to fill the Abby-shaped hole in his heart have left him empty, and now he’s going to win back his girl—or get over her. But first he needs answers. Particularly why she never responded to any of his letters.

About the Author
Virginia Nelson spends her days chasing three very active kids around. When she is not doing this, or plotting taking over the world, she likes to write, play in the mud, drive far too fast and scream at inanimate objects. She can often be found listening to music that is far too loud and typing her next fantastic tale of blood, sex and random acts of ineptitude. Romance, in Ms. Nelson’s opinion, is not about riding off into the sunset on the back of a horse with the knight in shining armor— it is about riding the dragon. I’ll tag other writers at the end of my post. I hope you enjoy learning about our work! What is the title of your book? What genre does your book come under? Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition? What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book? Is your book self-published, published by an independent publisher, or represented by an agency? How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript? What other books would you compare this story to within your genre? Who or what inspired you to write this book? What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest? My vamps run the gamut from good and fairly well-behaved (unless provoked) to super naughty critters. They’re undead, sensitive to sun and silver, drink human blood, and possess a basic set of vamp-y skills including heightened senses and super strength. Some of the older vamps also possess unique powers. Carina’s vampire family runs Team Good. Her family’s enemies make up Team Evil, of course. More story details available here –> |
