Celia’s Comic Review at I Smell Sheep: INKBLOT

Hope you’re having a wonderful summer. I’m busy working on a few new Fae paranormal romances but I’m sneaking in reading time, too, including “Inkblot” from Image Comics. What a fun read! Check out the full review of Inkblot over at the awesome I Smell Sheep Blog.
A powerful sorceress must attempt to correct her greatest mistake—the creation of a magical cat that can travel through time, space, and the seven realms of reality. The cat threatens to unravel the fabric of the universe, doesn’t care, and just won’t listen!
As a total cat person, it was my utmost pleasure to read Inkblot, Volume 1. Kubert and Gladd do an excellent job of setting up their world, delivering the backstory in an engaging and visually stunning manner, and providing a fun inciting incident with the creation of the cat, after which the time-travelling adventures begin. Their blurb nicely sums up what’s what, so let’s talk about my favorite bits of the volume.
1. The Cat!
