Writing Contest: Share Your Romantic “First Meet” Scene

My local RWA chapter, The San Francisco Area Romance Writers of America, is holding a contest for unpublished writers. Submit that special, thrilling scene when your hero and heroine meet for the first time. Entries from the top three finalists in each category—paranormal, contemporary, erotic, historical, young adult—will be read by agents and editors.

Important Dates:

• August 31, 2012 – Submission deadline
• September 30, 2012 – Notification for 1st-round finalists
• November 1, 2012 – Announcement of final round winners
