As promised a few days ago, I’m back with more bookish news and…one cat who eats All The Things. Yep, my baby boy can’t seem to help himself. Plastic, tape, hair ties, you name it, he attempts to consume it. In fact, he once ate a chunk of kitchen mat and had to have surgery so he wouldn’t die. We adore him, but he’s certainly a handful!

He has a lair under our couch, where he often takes toys and also things he should never eat…

Apparently, one evening, while we were all sleeping, he opened a mesh bag of avocados in the kitchen and took one to his hideout. 🤦‍♀️ My daughter caught him with it the next day when he carried what was left of it back to the kitchen. The good news: despite the toxin (persin) in avocados that can harm kitties, he didn’t die from eating it, and, in fact, had no side effects, phew!

Remember Kaden and Calie who made their first appearance in the BEYOND EARTH anthology? The limited collection is off the market and that means it’s time to release Claiming Kaden as a standalone story, huzzah! Kaden and Calie will be back online at the end of this month, but you’ll have a chance to pre-order *and* enter a special giveaway opportunity prior to its release.
